Ballroom to Ballpoint
My innate need to create stems well beyond words. Latin dance became another passion of mine. After pursuing a 13-year career in gymnastics, I was introduced to Latin dance and immediately fell in love. Four years and a few drops of blood, sweat, and tears later, I became a 2x world champion. Salsa Duet Champion 2016
Fun fact: After placing 3rd in the semi-finals, my twin sister and I changed the ending of our choreography at midnight prior to the final round. We won the competition the next day, surpassing 2nd place by a point and a half.
What I learned: I thrive under pressure, especially at the precipice of a loss.
